Namib Desert Lodge near Sossusvlei
Namib Desert Lodge stands beneath fossilised dunes approximately 60 kilometres north of Sesriem. It offers rooms, ready-equipped Camping2Go tents and campsites, giving couples, families and self-drive travellers several ways to stay in the Namib.
The lodge has a relaxed setting with two swimming pools, a restaurant, a bar and views towards a waterhole where oryx may appear. Guests can join guided dune drives, arrange an excursion to Sossusvlei or follow independent walking trails through the surrounding landscape.
Access is possible in a standard sedan via the C19 gravel road. One guest room is adapted for limited mobility, while the camping areas provide shared or private facilities according to the option selected.

Camping2Go and Namib Desert Lodge camping
Each pre-pitched Camping2Go tent has four beds, bedding, towels, an en-suite shower and a shaded outdoor kitchen. Equipment includes a fridge, gas cooker, seating, power, a water cooler and a barbecue.
The three campsites each accommodate up to six people. They provide shared hot-and-cold-water ablutions, power points, lights, shade and barbecue areas. Firewood can be purchased, and pets are not permitted.
Namib Desert Lodge facilities and meals
Shared facilities include two cold-water swimming pools, a restaurant, a bar, a curio shop, secure parking, mobile connectivity and reception Wi-Fi. Campsite and Camping2Go guests may use the central lodge facilities. Laundry is available at an additional charge.
