Anderssons Camp is great for families and travellers who want to camp in style. The chalets are comfortable and well-equipped. Guests also have access to a restaurant and lounge area. Here you can watch the local wildlife come for a drink at the waterhole. There is always an excellent chance of seeing the resident rhinos!

You will find us in the Ongava Game Reserve, which borders the Etosha National Park. The camp is near the Andersson Gate entrance, which takes you to the main camp of Okaukuejo.

Andersson's Camp is named after the Swedish explorer Charles Anderson who first “discovered” the Etosha Pan along with Sir Francis Galton in 1851. They were hunters and trekked to this region for their annual exploration hunt.

Stay at Anderssons Camp

The camp's communal area used to be the farmstead on the original farm. It has been converted to allow guests to see the beautiful views while dining or relaxing. The decor blends comfortable furniture with a modern, African-inspired look.

Then there are the 20 chalets that stretch out into the Mopane woodland. The pictures can tell you the rest of the story! We've made the accommodation as natural and comfortable as possible, while the architecture draws the eye to the beautiful landscape around you.

Anderssons Camp offers guided game drives in the Ongava Nature Reserve in groups, or you can opt for a private vehicle. It is the perfect accommodation if you are looking for a private game reserve and need quick access to the park.
